What Happens at a Balance Health Check?

Hero Image

If you’ve ever felt dizzy, unsteady on your feet, or unsure why your balance just doesn’t feel quite right — you’re not alone. At angli-EAR Hearing, we understand how much these symptoms can impact your daily life, and we’re here to help you take the first step toward feeling steady and confident again.

That’s where our free Balance Health Check comes in.

A Friendly First Step

The Balance Health Check is a 15-minute consultation with our Vestibular Physiotherapist, Shreya, and it’s designed to be a relaxed, approachable starting point. Think of it as a quick conversation to understand your symptoms better — not a full medical appointment, and definitely not something you need to bring folders of paperwork to!

And it’s completely flexible — you can choose to have your Balance Health Check in person at our clinic, by phone, or via an online video call — whatever suits you best.

What to Expect

During the session, Shreya will ask a few simple questions to get a clearer picture of your experience, such as:

  • What kinds of symptoms are you having? (e.g. dizziness, unsteadiness, vertigo)
  • When do these symptoms occur?
  • Are there particular movements or environments that trigger them?
  • How are these symptoms affecting your daily activities or confidence?
  • A quick look at any relevant lifestyle or background factors that might be useful.

This isn’t a deep dive into your entire medical history — just enough to understand what you’re experiencing and whether it might be helpful to explore further.

What Happens Next?

If the Balance Health Check suggests that further investigation is needed, we may recommend a more in-depth Vestibular and Balance Assessment. This detailed evaluation uses specialist equipment and techniques to pinpoint the cause of your symptoms and build a tailored rehabilitation plan.

But for many people, the Balance Health Check is simply a reassuring, informative first step.

Ready to Take Back Control?

If your balance is making you feel off-centre, uncertain or even unsafe, don’t wait. Book your free Balance Health Check — in person, by phone or online — and start getting the answers you deserve.
