We’re thrilled to unveil the angli-EAR Hearing Academy, an exciting new initiative designed to bring educational content and services focussed on all things related to ears, including hearing health, paediatric audiology, and balance and vestibular well-being to our community.
Our mission is simple: to give individuals, families, and organisations the knowledge and tools needed to support better hearing health and overall well-being. Through engaging events, hands-on workshops, and expert-led talks, we’re expanding our community outreach to help you better understand the importance of hearing in everyday life.
What to Expect from the angli-EAR Hearing Academy
Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll be offering this year:
In-House Hearing Health Talks
We’ll be hosting regular sessions at our clinic in Great Shelford on topics such as:
- Managing Tinnitus: Strategies to cope with and reduce its impact.
- Protecting Your Hearing as You Age: Tips for lifelong hearing health.
- Understanding Paediatric Hearing Loss: Supporting children with hearing challenges.
We’re also happy to bring our talks to local schools, organisations, or community groups. Have a topic in mind? Let us know—we’d love to hear your suggestions!
Hearing Aid Workshops
For those new to hearing aids, our workshops will cover everything from usage and maintenance to troubleshooting common issues. Expect live demonstrations and opportunities for hands-on learning to build confidence in using your devices.
Balance & Vestibular Awareness Events
Did you know balance disorders can impact your overall health? Our events will explore topics like:
- What Causes Dizziness?
- How Balance Affects Overall Well-Being.
Learn through our Balance and Vestibular expert, Shreya, how vestibular physiotherapy and other interventions can improve your quality of life.
Access to Expert Q&A Sessions
Every talk or webinar will include a live Q&A session, giving attendees the chance to ask questions directly to our audiologists and hearing health specialists.
