Lerissa is an accomplished dual-qualified Speech Therapist and Audiologist from Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating from the University of Witwatersrand, Lerissa began working at an Academic Hospital refining her skills as a Speech Therapist and Audiologist.
In search of new experiences, Lerissa embarked on an exciting, international adventure and made the bold move to Cambridge, accepting a role as a Senior Audiologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. This role advanced her skills in both specialist adult and paediatric clinics. In her quest for better hearing for all, Lerissa finds tremendous joy in working with people, young and old; connecting with them, hearing their stories, and helping them enjoy a better quality of life through better hearing.
Lerissa is a self-proclaimed shopaholic, keen photographer and has a passion for travelling. So if you have any tips, tricks, or new travel hotspots to share she will be all ears (pun intended)!
