Following a thorough initial assessment with our vestibular physiotherapist you will be provided with a tailored treatment plan.
Depending upon your diagnosis your individualised plan of care will be designed, it will include a combination of exercises in order to reduce the dizziness and improve balance. For some clients, dry needling may be recommended as part of their care plan to address tight neck muscles that may be contributing to their dizziness. By targeting muscle trigger points, this technique can help improve mobility, restore proper function, and support vestibular rehabilitation.
Our therapist takes a patient centred care approach to treatment which means you will be actively involved in your journey to recovery.
This programme will be individualised and based on the results and findings from your assessment and any specific goals you have outlined.
At the follow up appointment your vestibular physiotherapist will conduct a reassessment and will update your plan of care if required.
Your physiotherapist will actively communicate with other members of the multidisciplinary team involved in your care whenever required
They will also provide recommendations regarding further investigations and/or specialist review if thought necessary.
Our aim is to make you as functionally independent as possible and to help you improve your overall quality of life.
We want to assist you to live the life you want and to not have to constantly worry about your vertigo, dizziness, or balance problem.
