What Happens If Your Hearing Aids Need Repair?

If your hearing aids stop working or don’t sound right, help is quick and straightforward. At angli-EAR Hearingmost hearing aid repairs are completed in the clinic, and if your devices ever need to be sent to the manufacturer, you won’t be left without hearing support.

Most Hearing Aid Repairs Are Done in Clinic

In many cases, hearing aid problems can be resolved during a single audiologist appointment or by our fantastic HearCare Assist team on Reception (no appointment necessary!)

Our clinical and HearCare Assist teams regularly fix:

  • Blocked microphones or receivers
  • Wax or moisture build-up
  • Loose tubing or fittings
  • Minor technical faults
  • Sound quality or performance issues

Manufacturer repairs are only required occasionally.

What Happens If Hearing Aids Need Manufacturer Repair?

If your hearing aids need to be sent away, we make sure your hearing is not interrupted.

  • You’ll receive loan hearing aids at the same appointment
  • The loan aids are programmed for your hearing needs
  • You keep them until your repaired devices are ready

This ensures you continue hearing clearly at all times.

Aftercare for Existing angli-EAR Hearing Clients

If you purchased your hearing aids from angli-EAR Hearing, this level of support is already included in your aftercare.

Our Aftercare Service includes:

  • Six-monthly check-ups
  • Annual hearing tests
  • Hearing aid reprogramming
  • Ongoing advice and support
  • Routine maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs*
  • Adjustments such as changing domes and filters

If your hearing aids ever need to be sent to the manufacturer, loan hearing aids are provided during the same appointment, so you’re never without sound.

  • Want ongoing maintenance, repairs and priority aftercare
